Artisan manufactures custom garage doors that are designed to create the look of the stately swing-out doors found on older carriage houses, when property owners were stabling horses, not cars. To meet the needs of the modern homeowner, our carriage-style doors are designed to be stylish and elegant, with the convenience of easy, overhead operation.
Artisan door series are available in solid wood, vinyl or composite materials, each offering excellent quality, durability, and architectural character. Wood doors are crafted from premium woods including cedar, mahogany and fir varieties. Our vinyl doors offer a combination of historic design and modern convenience, using precision-milled vinyl facing and steel framing. Composite designs, featuring a faux hardwood facing with steel frame, look great for years with little maintenance necessary.
Add color, beauty, and protection to your Artisan doors by choosing a finish that best compliments your home. For wood doors we offer EnduraFinish, a wood coating system that produces the look and feel of a furniture-quality finish. Latex priming and color-match painting are also available.
Every garage door needs an annual inspection to verify the finish remains in good shape and that all hardware is intact. We recommend that your door be washed at least once a year, but that you never pressure wash your garage door.

Overhead Door Track & Hardware
Your Artisan dealer will take key measurements of your garage and door opening to determine the correct door size. The type and size of your overhead door track will also be based on these measurements. Overhead door tracks are available in white, black, and antique copper finishes.
To ensure your complete satisfaction with your Artisan door purchase, most of our custom door models include a limited warranty. Your Artisan warranty protects against material and manufacturing defects on your door, track and hardware; factory finishes; and installation by an authorized dealer.
