Accoya Wood Construction
Accoya is a high-performance wood engineered to last. Through an advanced, non-toxic modification process, it becomes more stable, more durable, and far more resistant to the elements than traditional wood. While traditional wood absorbs moisture, leading to swelling, shrinking, warping, and rot, Accoya changes that.
Core frames are constructed using Accoya lumber with a urethane insulated foam core. Trocoya backer panels are pressure-laminated for added strength.
TimberLife Accoya Finishes and Colors
Artisan offers factory-applied finishes, either stained or painted.
Additionally, boards can be ordered with a traditional finish or wire brushed. Wire brushing the surface of a board removes the softer pulp of the wood, creating a more framatic texture.
